New Delhi: Following the tremendous success of PK, here's another potential gem from Rajkumar Hirani. The trailer of Saala Khadoos, which has been in the making for a substantial amount of time, has now been released, with the film release slated to happen on January 29.
The teaser of Saala Khadoos was dished out to the audience along with PK, and the reaction had been fairly positive. The trailer lives up to the excitement it managed to create, with a challenging theme developed around the sport of boxing and a fallen hero.
Saala Khadoos is a bilingual film but what would instantly come as striking to you is the latest avatar of R Madhavan, who was last seen in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. The actor has undergone a drastic change in his physical appearance, sporting a rugged, tough look, complete with long hair and a beard. He looks nothing like the type you've seen him on the big screen before!

In the film, Madhavan plays a banished boxing coach who stumbles upon Ritika Singh, portraying an arrogant fisherwoman who has all the makings to be a rising boxing star. The story involves the journey of Madhavan finding Ritika, and training her to achieve an almost impossible feat of winning a boxing championship. While doing so, Saala Khadoos also attempts to expose the dark underbelly of sports administration in India, due to which scores of promising talent go unnoticed. The trailer also gives a sneak-peak into the romance that blossoms between the coach and the boxer.
World-famous magician P C Sorcar's daughter Mumtaz will also be seen making her Bollywood debut in Saala Khadoos. Mumtaz Sorcar will be seen as Ritika Singh's sister.
The Rajkumar Hirani-produced sports drama is also set to be released in Tamil, under the title of Irudhi Suttru. It will compete with Mastizaade, that stars Sunny Leone, in the box office.
