Saaho: Disha Patani, Shraddha Kapoor dropped from Prabhas' film and the reason is shocking

NEW DELHI: 'Baahubali' Prabhas is the latest sensation who has sent fans into a frenzy with his historic role. Prabhas is currently holidaying in US after five years of rigorous shooting for 'Baahubali' franchise. After returning, he will begin the shoot of sci-fi thriller 'Saaho' whose teaser released with 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. Earlier, there was rumour of Katrina Kaif romancing with the actor. Now, another piece of information related to the leading lady of 'Saaho' is doing the rounds. According to a report in Indiatvnews.com, Sharddha Kapoor and newbie Disha Patani were approached to play the role but both the actress made makers regrets their decision. Both of them demanded whopping amount which left the makers baffled. "Shraddha was our first choice. She heard us out and was almost jumping with excitement during the narration. Then, she quoted a price that had the team running out of her residence as fast as possible. She wanted Rs 8 crore. We were shocked. We don’t pay that kind of money to actors in Telugu cinema. But she wouldn’t budge. She was like, ‘I love the script and I’d love to work with Prabhas. But the price remains unchanged," said a source. The 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' actress Disha Patani who made Bollywood debut with this hit also demanded the price which was not in accordance with her career graph. A source further informed, "She started her career in Telugu cinema. So we thought she would be keenly interested in the project, as it stars Prabhas. Disha wouldn’t meet us. When she finally did, she said she’d let us know. Later, her team members informed us that she liked the script, but would want Rs 5 crore as her fee. We want to know which Bollywood producer pays Disha that kind of money?” Kriti Sanon was also contacted but meeting didn't yield any suitable result. Now, makers are pondering over the 'Mohenjo Daro' actress Pooja Hedge.
