Katrina Kaif to romance Baahubali Prabhas in 'Saaho'?

NEW DELHI: Katrina Kaif seems to be in the best phase of her career till now. The actress has recently signed the much-talked about movie, 'Thugs of Hindustan'. The film has a big star cast including Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh and is being helmed by 'Dhoom' fame Vijay Acharya. Now, there are reports of the actress being roped in to play female lead opposite Prabhas in 'Saaho'. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter handle to share the news. He wrote, "#KatrinaKaif most likely to be signed up as the leading lady for #Prabhas in #Saaho".   If this turns to be true, then 'Saaho' will be Katrina's comeback in South films. Earlier she has acted in a 2006 Malayalam movie,  Balram vs. Tharadas and then she went on to do Telugu films, Malliswari and Allari Pidugu. 'Saaho' is being directed by young filmmaker Sujeeth, who narrated the story to Prabhas much before the release of first part of 'Baahubali' franchise. It is a sci-fi thriller movie with a strong technical crew. Cashing in on Prabhas' pan-India popularity, 'Saaho' will be released in three languages, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Katrina who is currently shooting for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' with ex Salman Khan, is also waiting for her next release 'Jagga Jassos'. Formal announcement would be made once Prabhas returns from his much-needed holiday in US.
