Emraan Hashmi Launches His Book 'THE KISS OF LIFE'!

Emraan Hashmi launched his book,'The Kiss Of Life : How a Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer'.

In the story, lies the most important and transformative experience of Emraan's life—the period when his son, Ayyan, was battling with cancer. It reveals the man behind the limitless charm of Emraan Hashmi and how he dealt with his son’s illness. Honest, personal, bold and heart-warming, The Kiss of Life is about an actor and a father’s trials and triumphs.

In early 2014, Emraan's son, Ayan was diagnosed with first stage cancer.

Emraan, who has co-written the book with author Bilal Siddiqi, said the idea of writing a book never came to his mind until veteran journalist Hussain Zaidi asked him to do it.

A tumor was found in Ayan's kidney which turned out to be malignant.

Emraan Hashmi's book is about his struggle and hardship with his son, Ayan's cancer treatment.
