Actor-Cricketer Dhruv Sharma passes away

Dhruv Sharma was a Kannada actor and was also the vice captain of Karnataka Bulldozers in the Celebrity Cricket League. He was one of the very few speech and hearing impaired actors of India.

New Delhi: A popular Kannada actor, an excellent cricketer and a father of two- Dhruv Sharma  died a few hours after midnight on Tuesday . Dhruv, only thirty five, reportedly succumbed to multiple organ failure and cardiac arrest. He could not speak ..he could not hear...yet he went on to be a wonderful actor and the vice-captain of Karnataka Bulldozers in the Celebrity Cricket League. Despite his impairments, his strength never fizzled out and he went on to prove the world that he is a man of true grit and spirit. Dhruv had earned accolades from his skipper Kichcha Sudeep for his performance in cricket matches. Dhruv had great lip-syncing skills and that is how he delivered dialogues on screen. He did it with such ease and perfection that the viewers could not differentiate whether he was actually speaking or lip-syncing. Dhruv's widely acclaimed performance is that in 'Snehanjali', the movie which was registered in the Guinness Book and the Limca Book of world records for having a hearing and speech impaired person in the lead. Dhruv Sharma, was a popular figure and an inspiration for many. Celebrities of South and Bollywood have expressed condolence on his tragic demise. Bollywod actors Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani took to Twitter to express their grief.       Dhruv Sharma, who was a resident of Rajanukunte, suffered multiple organ failure on Saturday. It is being said that the multiple organ failure led to cardiac arrest to which Dhruv lost the battle. However there is one more angle to this death. The family members of Dhruv suspect a suicide, as Dhruv was under huge financial losses. Cops are probing the case based on the complaint of his family.
