Veena, 25-year-old mother of 2 kids donates liver to save her father

New Delhi: The love of a daughter for her father clearly knows no bounds. Twenty-five-year old woman without any hesitation whatsoever donated her liver to save the life of her father who was suffering from a liver ailment, reported an English Daily. After the donation of liver, Veena's father, Ravi Prakash Tripathi (55) is now safely recovering in the hospital. However, Veena was discharged after the operation that lasted for about 11 hours, reported TOI. Reportedly, Veena has two daughters aged 3 and one-and-a-half-year old. Her husband Manish Upadhyaya is a computer teacher at a school in Chandauli district who along with his parents honoured Veena's sentiment and stood by her all along.
