BJP will serve Maharashtra with unparalleled diligence: PM Modi

NEW DELHI: Following BJP's success in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took it to twitter to express the party's desire of improving governance in Maharashtra.   "BJP is unwavering in the resolve to serve Maharashtra with unparalleled diligence, transparency and taking the state to even greater heights," he tweeted. He also congratulated Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for achieving success in the recently concluded polls along-with other workers of the party. "I congratulate the entire team of BJP Maharashtra, CM Devendra Fadnavis and Raosaheb Patil Danve for working tirelessly among the people. Through hardwork, determination and work on the ground, BJP is now a strong force both in urban & rural Maharashtra. Congrats to Karyakartas," tweeted Prime Minister Modi. The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude towards people of Maharashtra for reinforcing their faith in BJP. Earlier today, the BJP had won 82 seats out of a total of 227 in BMC polls, whereas the Shiv Sena had emerged victorious after securing 84 seats.
