YSR Congress workers create ruckus during party meeting

Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) [India], October 17 (ANI): In a major setback to YSR Congress leader Mithun Reddy, two party factions created ruckus and threatened to resign during a party meeting held in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur.

"There is no respect and recognition in the party and we cannot continue in the party," said YSRCP Central Committee Member Prakash Reddy.

The ruckus took place in the presence of Mithun Reddy.

Workers of one of the two groups alleged that they are being suppressed within the party.

The party leaders raised question and said that YSRCP is just using the party leaders for their own benefit.

"Is this your leadership? We need answers," questioned party leaders.

The agitated YSR Congress leaders broke the furniture and raised slogans, claiming that they are denied respect and recognition in YSRCP.

They also threatened to resign from the party if their concerns were not dealt with.(ANI)
