Uttar Pradesh & Haryana act tough against cheating during exams

Uttar Pradesh: After hearing several complaints about cheating at examination halls in the state, CM Yogi Adityanath took several tough stands in order to put the cheating at halt. Acting strongly against the examination centres and authorities Yogi on Thursday passed stringent orders. Latest updates:

• CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered cancellation of conducting exams at 54 examination centers
• Also, 534 centers, which have been seen encouraging cheating won’t be able to hold exams in the future
• Education officers of seven districts have received Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s notice over excessive cheating in areas falling under their domain
• The invigilation process has been fastened and so far 1419 students have been caught cheating, and have been barred from writing exam
• Case has been registered against 359 teachers and invigilators

Recent orders by CM have sent across strong message to everyone who resorts to cheating in order to clear exams. CM has promised action against guardians, teachers, students, invigilators and senior education officers; who have been encouraging cheating. On being asked about how would this help them personally, they said that they are doing it for the welfare and better future of the students.
