Yogi Adityanath orders officials to check high fee structure in private schools

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who has been taking several tough decisions in order to fix the law and order situation in the state has now laid his focus on the education sector and held a meeting with senior officers to discuss and find out measures to curb cheating during exams. CM during the meeting discussed several measures as to how can the cheating during exams be stopped. Also CM took a decision on private schools and urged his officers to make a policy which keeps a check on fee structure of private schools. As per sources, CM till late Monday night was watching a presentation presented by Education department. Even earlier CM took stringent steps against cheating during exams. Last week, CM Yogi Adityanath ordered cancellation of conducting exams at 54 examination centers. Also, 534 centers, which have been seen encouraging cheating won’t be able to hold exams in the future. Education officers of seven districts have received Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s notice over excessive cheating in areas falling under their domain. The invigilation process has been fastened and so far 1419 students have been caught cheating, and have been barred from writing exam. Also, a case was registered against 359 teachers and invigilators so that precedent can be set.
