New Delhi: Former IPS DG Vanzara in his 10-page letter to the
Gujarat government slammed Narendra Modi's close aide Amit Shah.
He complains in the letter that, "the government has been reaping very
rich political dividends since last 12 years keeping the glow of encounter
cases alive in Gujarat.
Till so far, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi did not give any reply
on the issue.
Vanzara blamed the Gujarat government of saving its own skin from CBI on
one hand and gain political benefits from the other.

The former IPS is one of the main accused in the 2005 fake encounter case
of Sohrabuddin Shaikh and the murder of his wife Kausar Bi and was the
firs person to be arrested.
Vanzara was heading the team of Crime Branch, Ahmedabad, which was
involved in the Ishrat Jahan encounter case.
