Watch Video: Terrorists loot Rs 11 lakh from bank in Jammu and Kashmir

Pulwama: In yet another incident of robbery, the terrorists looted Rs. 11 lakh from Jammu and Kashmir Bank's Ratnipora branch here on Thursday. A similar incident had taken place earlier on December 8 when unidentified men targeted the same bank's branch in Pulwama, looting Rs. 13.38 lakh. Several cases of bank loot have come to the fore in the state post the demonetisation move announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8. Notably, the theft took place a day after a terrorist was neutralised in an encounter which took place with the security forces in Bijbehara, Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Even earlier on December 9, three Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in a 36-hour gunbattle with security forces in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in Kashmir.
