WATCH: Hizbul chief Syed Salahuddin's warning 10 days before Amarnath yatra terror attack

New Delhi: Days before the dastardly attack on Amarnath yatra pilgrims, Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin had warned that his group has the capability to launch attacks anywhere in India.   Hizbul along with Lashkar-E-Toiba are suspected to have carried out the attack in which seven Hindu pilgrims were killed on Monday evening. In his recent interview to a Pak TV channel, 71-year-old Salahuddin boasted in a television interview that his outfit has carried out terror attacks in India and can continue to do so. Salahuddin said he can strike anytime, anywhere in India and was easy for him to get weapons in Pakistan for these terror strikes. “We have conducted strikes in the past. We have support in India, our people are there. Inshallah our efficiency is such that we can target any location in India,” he said. Talking about how he procures weapons to launch attacks, Salahuddin said, “We get weapons from the international market. I can deliver it here. All I need is money. I get funds from all over the world. Even if Pakistan gives I don’t consider it a crime.” Salahuddin, who operates from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, was declared a specially designated global terrorist by the US Department of State during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi there.
