U-turn: Karni Sena leader Lokendra Singh Kalvi says, 'Won't watch Padmaavat'

New Delhi [India], Jan 23 (ABP Live): The Shree Rajput Karni Sena leader Lokendra Singh Kalvi on Tuesday took a U-turn and said he will not watch controversial flick 'Padmaavat'. "I won't watch Padmaavat film," he said in an exclusive conversation with ABP News. "Four days ago, I got a letter from Sanjay Leela Bhansali but it was a conspiracy. He had sent the message so that we say no and he gets a chance to say that see they (Karni Sena) refused to watch the movie...He (Bhansali) isn't interested in showing the film. We are also not interested in seeing it," he said. "We will show the film to those whom censor board had chosen. Three people were shown the film, rest six were not. So we want to show the film to those six," Kalvi added. Karni Sena leader also warned that if Bhansali insulted members of the outfit, he will have to face consequences. On Monday, Karni Sena, a group opposing film 'Padmaavat', had agreed to watch Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical drama flick after the director's invitation to end the deadlock on the issue. The movie, set to be released on January 25, has been been facing protests by Karni Sena and other fringe groups over allegations that historical facts were distorted in the flick.
