New Delhi: Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was an Indian Philosopher and the first vice president of India. The year 1962  marked the presence of such a great statesman. Since his birth, 5th September is celebrated as Teachers Day every year in India.

It is a day that calls for some appreciation towards the people who have taught us some lesson in life. Life is a journey where learning becomes valuable. Teachers Day is not just wishing our teachers in school or college but it is about showing respect and gratitude to those who have embedded knowledge in us.
