Still haven't got our villas, well done Dhoni for breaking ties with Amrapali: Harbhajan

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Saturday welcomed skipper MS Dhoni decision to break ties with Amrapali group. Bhajji tweeted his feeling out and said-"Well done @msdhoni for dropping #Amarpali builders s brand ambassadorship..they didn't gave us VILLAS they announce after 2011 worldcup win". Dhoni resigned as brand ambassador of realty firm Amrapali, days after the unhappy residents of a housing project in Noida launched a social media campaign asking the cricketer to dis-associate himself from the builder. Amrapali Chairman and Managing Director Anil Sharma while talking to ABP News said that the Indian cricket team captain is not a brand ambassador of the real estate group now. “This decision was taken mutually by Dhoni and us,” he added. Dhoni was the brand ambassador of the company for the last 6-7 years. On Harbhajan's tweeting that the 2011 World Cup winning team not receiving villas as promised by the builder, Sharma said that the villas were ready for allotment but none of them came forward to take possession of it. "Allotment of villas were ready, these cricketers didn't complete the process and take possession of it," he said.
