Sonia Gandhi condoles demise of veteran journalist Arun Sadhu

New Delhi [India], September 25 (ANI): Congress president Sonia Gandhi expressed condolences on the passing away of renowned journalist and writer Arun Sadhu.

Sadhu passed away at the age of 76 in Mumbai on Monday.

Acknowledging Arun Sadhu's contribution to English, Hindi and Marathi literature through his novels, Congress president said that he will be remembered for his path of literature and journalism with equal elan.

Sonia Gandhi conveyed her sympathies to the family and friends of Sadhu.

Sadhu was suffering from the condition of Cardiomyopathy since long.

Yesterday, Sadhu was admitted in Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital a.k.a. Sion hospital at around 10 a.m. in the morning.

He won Sahitya Academy award and also several awards such as Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, NC Kelkar and Acharya Atre award. (ANI)
