Snapdeal offers to deliver cash at your doorstep: Know how to avail

New Delhi: Snapdeal on Thursday announced a new facility called Cash@Home which allows people to get cash delivered at their doorstep.  Reportedly, the facility allows people to order delivery of Rs.2000. The way it works is very simple.
  1. Firstly, you need to install the Snapdeal App.
  2. Next, when you order a delivery of cash, the app checks if there is cash available in your area.
  3. If there is, Snapdeal sends you a push notification and an SMS notification.
  4. You are then be taken to the order page.
  5. A convenience fee of Re. 1 is charged for ordering the delivery.
  6. The next day, Snapdeal person arrives at your place with a PoS machine.
  7. You swipe your card and get the cash.
  8. You can order a maximum of Rs 2000 per booking.
  9. Any bank's ATM card can be used to make the payment.
  10. You do not have to order anything else to avail the facility.
The facility is currently live in Gurugram and Bengaluru and will be extended to major cities, based on the feedback of the users. Reportedly, according to Snapdeal, the money is distributed as a 'goodwill gesture'.
