SHOCKING: 35 more children die in Gorakhpur hospital in last 2 days; DM report out

New Delhi: A report released by District Magistrate on the string of deaths one after another in Gorakhpur hospital, has spilled the beans and revealed that “the 36 children died due to callousness of the oxygen company and the doctors”. It is shocking to know that in spite of assurances by the government, 35 more children have died in the hospital in last two days. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and state Health Minister Siddharth Nath Singh are yet to speak on the 35 deaths that took place in last two days. After much ruckus and debates over the multiple deaths in Gorakhpur hospital, Uttar Pradesh health minister had claimed that the deaths did not take place due to lack of Oxygen supply, and citied different reasons for the death of every single child. The minister had also given a count of number of deaths that took place in the month of August in last 2-3 years; post which he had faced a lot of criticism from the opposition. On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had sacked the principal of BDM medical college and had assured strict action against the responsible. A report was also sought by centre, which had assured all possible help to UP government to tackle the issue. It’s shocking to see that the death toll is mounting at such a large pace, even after tall claims by the government.
