Mumbai: Shiv Sena has termed the acquittance of actor Salman Khan in the hit-and-run case by Bombay High Court as unfortunate.

Commenting on this party spokesperson, Arvind Bhosale said, "How the poor will get justice like this?" and added the judgement should be challenged in the higher court as the law is equal for everyone.

"I don't think the justice has been done," he added.

On Thursday, Salman Khan is acquitted by the Bombay High Court of all charges in the hit-and-run case.

The relief has come thirteen years after Bollywood superstar was charged in the case, when on 28 September 2002, he was arrested for rash and negligent driving after his car ran into a bakery in Mumbai. The incident caused the death of one person and three others were injured in the mishap.
