Amit Shah presents Govt's reportcard on completing 3 yrs; claims to have put an end to 'corruption'

New Delhi: As the BJP government completes three years at the Centre on Friday, party Chief Amit Shah addressed media and presented a report card of party’s accomplishments in three years.  Here are some of the main quotes from the conference:

• “In a country of over 125 crore, BJP provided employment to over 8 crore people in the last three years”

• Scathing an attack on the Congress, Shah said, “How can media compare us with Indira Gandhi's government? Unlike them we didn’t put emergency on you”

• “BJP successfully removed the VIP culture by putting a curb on the use of red lights”

• Talking about the big demonetisation move of the government, Shah said,  “the government took a major step to put an end to black money

• Shah also spoke about the prolonged unrest in the valley and assured that all necessary steps are being taken to improvise the situation. “Conditions will soon stabilise in Jammu and Kashmir” said Shah

• “PM Modi delivered a strong message through surgical strikes”. Shah also added saying that "surgical strikes sent across a message worldwide". He also added saying "The Indian Army must be respected by all"

• With a fresh BJP Government in the state of Uttar Pradesh, BJP boss spoke about the law and order situation in UP and said, “Strict actions will be taken against criminals in UP”. He also added saying,“soon the changes will be noticed by everyone in the state”

• Speaking on the India's international relations, BJP supremo said “Our priority is to maintain good relations with our neighbours; But this is a two way process and it can’t be done alone

• “BJP also helped women by increasing the number of maternity leaves”
