New Delhi: Shiv Sena on Monday lashed out at UPA’s Vice Presidential Candidate Gopal Krishna Gandhi and questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi for her support to him. Scathing an attack on Gopal Krishna Gandhi, who is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Sena leader Sanjay Raut said, “Gopal Krishna opposed 1993 Bombay serial blasts accused Yakub Memon’s hanging”. He further questioned Sonia Gandhi saying, “How can Sonia extend his support to him”. While Congress elected Gandhi as their Vice Presidential candidate, NDA is yet to announce their candidate.
