New Delhi: The national capital was once again full of buzz about possible return of former SP leader Amar Singh to party fold when party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav met him at his Delhi residence for not one or two but for about 5 long hours.

Sources have told ABP News that in this One on One meet between the two old partners, Mulayam Singh not only invited Amar Singh for the marriage ceremony of grandson and now MP Tej Pratap Yadav in February 2015 but also tried hard to convince Amar Singh to re-join Samajwadi Party.

As per Sources, Mulayam also assured Amar Singh of a Rajya Sabha seat at the first next opportunity but ABP has learnt that Amar  politely turned down Mulayam's offer saying he cannot come back to a party in which other top leaders had made adverse remarks against him at the time of his ouster.

Mulayam, reportedly, had tried on earlier occasions to get Amar back to the party but it was due to internal opposition to the idea in the party that Amar even was not selected for Rajya Sabha by SP this time.

However, Amar has accepted the invitation to attend Tej Pratap Yadav's marriage ceremony with Lalu Yadav's daughter.

Sources have also told ABP News that rumours of Amar in talks with BJP to join the party is also incorrect and he is not likely to join any party in the near future. So, for now, No 'Ghar-Wapasi' for Amar Singh.
