Ramjas incident: Delhi Police files ATR

New Delhi [India], Aug.3 (ANI): The Delhi Police on Thursday filed an action taken report (ATR) in a Delhi court on a complaint seeking lodging of FIR in the Ramjas College incident, in which anti-national slogans were allegedly raised in February this year.

The Delhi Police, in its report, said that the video clips submitted by various sources looked doctored and will resend them for forensic examination.

Earlier in July, a court pulled up the Crime Branch of the Police for not filing a status report for the last six months in regards to the matter.

The Crime Branch had sought more time to file a status report.

The court was hearing the plea seeking lodging of FIR against those who allegedly raised anti-national slogans.

The plea was filed by an advocate alleging that massive anti-national slogans were raised by the students of All India Students Association (AISA) and Students' Federation of India (SFI) at Ramjas College.

On February 22, the All India Students Association (AISA) and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) engaged into a scuffle over cancellation of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student Umar Khalid's talk at Ramjas College. (ANI)
