Rahul reminds PM Modi of his promise on black money

New Delhi [India], Jan. 24 (ANI): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday took a potshot on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reminding him of his earlier promise of bringing back black money stashed abroad.

Rahul took to his Twitter handle to say that the youths are waiting to know if the Prime Minister has brought some money with him from Davos.

"Dear PM, Welcome back from SWITZERLAND. Quick reminder about your promise on BLACK MONEY. Youth in India were wondering if you got any back with you in your plane (sic)?" Rahul tweeted.

Rahul was referring to the promise made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during 2014 General Elections to bring back the black money stashed in the Swiss banks.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in India today, after attending the plenary session of the 48th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. (ANI)
