President Kovind plans two-day visit to Gujarat

New Delhi [India], Sept 3 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind has planned a two-day visit to Gujarat, from September 3 to 4.

On September 3, President Kovind will visit the Sabarmati Ashram and will be the chief guest at the launch of various social welfare programmes in Mehsana, on the occasion of the 83rd birthday of Rashtrasant Acharya Padmasagarsuriji.

On September 4, the President will lay the foundation stone of 'Saurashtra Narmada Avataran Irrigation Yojana' (SAUNI) Phase-II Link-4 at Rajkot.

President Kovind will leave for Gujarat for a two-day visit, after swearing in the new ministers in the Prime Minister Modi-led government.(ANI)
