New Delhi: The consistent spiral in petrol
prices is disrupting the budget of the common man. People The hike in
petrol price is almost 95 percent since 2004. STAR News spoke to Raj
Srivastav, a software engineer and a resident of Noida. Employed in a firm
in Greater Noida, Raj has to travel by car everyday. He makes his budget
each year but has to cut down on a lot of expenses each time. The reason-
ever increasing petrol prices.





Raj says he is extremely worried about the occurrence
since it affects his monthly budget. A worried Raj says that three years
back he was spending Rs 3500 on petrol and now has to spend Rs 7000.
According to him petrol prices are increasing but there is no commensurate
hike in salaries. Sushma Srivastav, Raj’s wife also admits to cutting
down on daily expenses due to increasing prices.
