New Delhi: Now there is a good news for commuters, as the petrol may get cheaper.

After the fall in crude oil prices, the oil companies may reduce the price of "liquid gold". According to the sources, the price of fuel may by reduced up to Rs 4 per litre.

It is pertinent to mention here that despite deregulation, prices of petrol and diesel in India are very high than that of international crude oil. On Friday, the international crude oil price of Indian Basket was at USD 35.72 per barrel.

Interestingly, internationally, crude is reaching closer to its 11-year low, on growing fears that the global oil glut would worsen in the months to come in a pricing war between leading OPEC and non-OPEC producers.
