New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Monday criticised Pakistan for its continuous ceasefire violation along the border. "Pakistan is a country of cowards, on one side they show white flags & on other target civilians," Singh said.
Indian and Pakistan troops traded heavy fire on Monday on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
Police sources said heavy shelling and firing started between the two armies in Kerni area.
"After the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing at Indian positions, Indian military retaliated strongly and effectively.
