Odisha Govt, FICCI join hands to promote culture, tourism

New Delhi [India], Aug 22 (ANI): In a bid to boost Odisha's culture and tourism, the Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), will organise the first ever Odisha Travel Bazaar in October in Bhubaneshwar.

Addressing a road show in the national capital, Odisha Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Ch. Panda on Tuesday said, "There are lots of travel bugs who love to visit various destinations, but do not have the proper knowledge to choose them. We as the government body are trying to encourage them with proper tourism guides."

"Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Odisha Government is trying to promote the architectures, pilgrim spots and sight scenes, which are unknown to various people, and in this process the FICCI has joined hands with us to enhance the industry," he added.

He further said that the state is emerging as a priority destination for creative travelers for authentic experiences with its unique natural and cultural heritage.

FICCI, Chairperson, Dr. Jyotsna Suri said, "We need to understand the potentiality of the Odisha Tourism and accordingly dwell into the matter. I hope to meet lot of entrepreneurs who would step forward to invest into the industry to enhance the travel tourism in the." (ANI)
