Nirbhaya gets justice: Parents welcome SC verdict with smile on their face

New Delhi: In a historic verdict the Supreme Court held its previous judgment on the accused of Nirbahaya rape case gave death sentence to all the convicts. The judgment came as a big relief for the parents of the rape victim who lost her life after fighting a tough battle. Welcoming the court verdict Nirbhaya's mother said, "justice can be delayed but will always prevail". She added saying any one who is fighting for justice must not lose hope must continue their fight, for one who fights whole-hardheartedly would always attain victory. Even Nirbahaya's father sounded extremely relived by the judgement and said, "It's a victory for my family and I am very happy with the judgment". It is after fighting a battle for over five years a relief could be seen on the faces of Nirbhaya's parents who were looking forward to the SC verdict with a ray of hope in their minds and prayers on their lips. The court hearing began at 2:03 pm on Friday and continued for over 15 minutes. The judge asserted that a precedent must be set in front of the whole country as the incident still sends chills across one'e body. The judge also said that the incident shook the whole country and the guilty don't deserve any mercy.
