Never said PM Modi spoke to Nawaz Sharif about Dawood: Rajnath Singh

Lucknow: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that he never said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif today about returning Dawood Ibrahim to India.

 

 

 

"The news that is running is untrue, no idea how this news is running. I did not say that Prime Minister Narendra Modispoke to Nawaz Sharif about Dawood Ibrahim today," said Singh.

 

 

Earlier in the day, Rajnath Singh had said that India has already asked Pakistan to hand over Dawood.

 

 

The agency which has the underworld don's recorded conversation has recently traced his location to Karachi's Clifton suburb in Pakistan.

 

 

According to a report, a series of never heard before tapes have been accessed from a website Newsmobile.in giving an insight into the life of Dawood Ibrahim.

While Pakistan continues to deny the whereabouts of Dawood, based on months of surveillance mounted on the underworld don Islamabad's lie appears to have been nailed. The tapes have reportedly been procured from western diplomatic sources and it is being established thatDawood is running his business empire around the globe with impunity.
