PM Modi writes letter to Pranab Mukherjee on his last day in office as President; 'Touched my heart', says Pranab Da

New Delhi: The 13th President of India (from 2012 until 2017) Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said that on his last day in office as the President, he received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that touched his heart. Mukherjee also shared the letter. "On my last day in office as the President, I received a letter from PM that touched my heart! Sharing with you all," Pranab Mukherjee tweeted. Praising Pranab Da PM wrote, "You have inspired us with your simplicity, high principlas and exemplary leadership". "That you are a repository of knowledge is well known. I have always marveled at your insights on various subjects," the letter further read. Here is the entire letter: 11111 Pranab Mukherjee is succeeded by Ram Nath Kovind as the 14th President of India.
