Lucknow Police recovers Rs.50 lakh in old currency, detains three

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Aug.29 (ANI): Police in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar area have confirmed the arrest of three persons with Rs.50 lakh worth of old currency.

Police said that the old currency was recovered from a vehicle registered in the name of former state minister and Samajwadi Party MLA Ravidas Mehrotra. The accused were arrested late last night.
