J&K: Bullet-ridden body of an Army Lieutenant found in Shopian

Shopian: Days after splenetic gestures were exchanged between India and Pakistan over the killing of two Indian soldiers in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, a bullet ridden body of an Army Lieutenant was found in Shopian district of South Kashmir on Wednesday morning. Army Lieutenant Umar Fayaz’s body was found with multiple bullet injuries on his body. The slain officer was a resident of Kulgam district. Terrorists are reportedly behind the attack. As per reports, he was abducted by the terrorists on Tuesday and thereafter shot dead and his body was disposed. This incident has come when the wounds of Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh and the BSF's Head Constable Prem Sagar’s death are still afresh. The most shocking part if, In spite of continuous attacks, Pakistan has been denying killing and mutilation of Indian soldiers. Refuting Pakistan’s claim of not committing the act, Defence Minister Arun Jaitley had also asserted that such an act where crossing of borders are involved cannot be committed without an involvement of the Pakistan Army.
