In a first, SSB collaborates with UP for skill development training

Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 9 (ANI): The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)has become the first Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) to begin skill development in collaboration with a state.

On the initiative of Director General (DG) SSB Archana Ramasundram, the SSB became the CAPF to commence implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh Government for three-month course on skill development.

On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Ramasundram visited the SSB campus in Gorakhpur where the former appreciated the force for its work along the International Border and promised to provide it 100 acre land.

The Chief Minister also assured all possible help to the SSB to help in maintaining security and good relation on international border.

In another unique feature, the SSB has taken youth from border areas for this training program. (ANI)
