I was a victim of Congress conspiracy, suffered injustice for 9 years: Sadhvi Pragya

Mumbai: Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, who was granted bail two days ago, alleged on Thursday that she was a victim of Congress conspiracy. Addressing a press conference in Bhopal, 44-year-old Sadhvi said she’s suffered injustice for nine years. She also paid a tribute to CRPF jawans killed in Sukma attack. Sadhvi slammed the Congress party for coining the term ‘saffron terror’. She hit out at P Chidambaram saying only demons are afraid of the saffron robe. She also accused the Anti Terror Squad of physically and mentally torturing her during interrogation.  "I was put on ventilator for 5 days." Sadhvi said she will undergo medical treatment now that she's out on bail. Sadhvi's brother-in-law Bhagwan Jha had distributed chocolates outside the court premises. "Prima facie there is no case made out against Sadhvi. But there are reasonable grounds for believing that the accusations made against Purohit are prima facie true," a division bench of Justices Ranjit More and Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi was quoted by newsagency PTI. Sadhvi was asked to furnish a cash surety of Rs five lakh and surrender her passport to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). It also directed her not to tamper with the evidence and to report to the NIA court as and when required. Sadhvi Pragya, who is suffering from cancer, is currently undergoing treatment at a Madhya Pradesh hospital. Another key accused in the case, Colonel Purohit, was denied bail by the high court. He is lodged in Taloja jail in Maharashtra. The deadly blasts in Malegaon had killed six people and and nearly 100 others were injured.
