According to a media report, The Haryana Board will announce the class 12th/ Senior secondary results on May 18 by 4 PM. In the report, an official is quoted, “The evaluation of answer sheets are over and HBSE is all set with the results. We will first release marks of Class 12 students as many educational institutes like Delhi University’s admission process will begin from next week”
Though HBSE’s official results associated website indiaresults.com has also confirmed that the HBSE Class 12th results are likely to be declared at 4 PM on May 18, i.e. today. HBSE Class 10th results will be declared 2 days later.
This year more than 7 lakh students have appeared for class 12th examination. Last year, nearly 2.5 lakh students had appeared for the the HBSE Class 12 examinations and the pass percentage was 53.96 per cent. The girls gained maximum over boys by scoring 70.77 per cent while boys were at 55.79 per cent .

According to Wikipedia, “The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), (Est: 1969) is the authority which conducts the Public Examinations at Middle, Matric (Secondary or High School) and Senior Secondary School (Academic & Vocational) levels twice a year in the state of Haryana through the affiliated schools.
The board conducts examinations twice in a year for Class 8th, 10th and 12th. The first semester exams conduct in September while second semester exam conduct in the month of March. The Results declare within 1–2 months after the exams. The board also annually conducts the Haryana D.Ed (Diploma in Education) entrance exam for students of Senior Secondary to admission into the D.Ed Course of two years. Apart from tests above, HBSE also conducts the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) time to time. The integral part of the HBSE, Haryana Open School (HOS) conducts on demand examination, annual and supplementary examinations at secondary and senior secondary levels.
