'Guilty must be brought to book': Rahul Gandhi on RSS leader Gosai's killing

New Delhi [India], October 18 (ANI): Lambasting the killing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Ravinder Gosai, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday stated that the guilty must be brought to book.

Gandhi in a tweet, expressed, "I strongly condemn the killing of RSS leader Ravinder Gosai in Ludhiana. Violence is unacceptable. The guilty must be brought to book."

Earlier in the day, police recovered the bike which was used by assailants to kill Gosai from an area near Fagguwal on NH-1.

RSS leader Ravinder Gosai was shot dead by unidentified men on a motorcycle in Ludhiana's Kailash Nagar, on Tuesday morning, when he was returning from the RSS branch.

The incident comes two days after another RSS worker, Nidesh, 28, was attacked in Kerala.

The local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit has blamed the attack on CPM workers. (ANI)
