New Delhi: After becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath gave his first interview to DD News which is owned by Prasar Bharati, a public broadcasting agency, on Wednesday. In the interview, he spoke in-dept about future plans of his newly formed state government. Here are important excerpts of the interview.
  • GOI's priority has always been to make lives of farmers' easy & stable. We are trying our best to do that: CM
  • Making foreign language compulsory in Class 11th and 12th will only benefit students: UP CM
  • Nobody is above law, will not tolerate any activity which affects peace in the state: UP CM
  • Teachers' recruitment will be held in a transparent way very soon: UP CM Yogi Adityanath
  • Sugar mills’ owners should waive-off loans of sugarcane farmers within 40 days or face action: UP CM Yogi Adityanath
  • Five thousand wheat procurement centers will be set up across the state: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

  • For any deaths due to hunger, District Magistrates will be held responsible: UP CM
  • CMOs will be held responsible for deaths of children due to lack of health facilities: UP CM
  • Strict actions will be taken against eve-teasers, Anti-romeo squad is not related to any religion or caste: Yogi
  • Need to follow NGT guidelines on slaughter houses: UP CM
