Four youths from Chattisgarh end lives in Thane

Thane: Four Chhattishgarh youngsters including two girls ended
their lives in Ovla locality here, police said today.

The
incident took place late night when the four -- Tulsi Okharam Tande (19),
Lalita Maderan Kose (20), Hiralal Solen Sahu (22) and Lakhoj Gure (22)--
hanged themselves in a chawl, they said.

Senior Police Inspector
Pramod Khade said the four originally belonging to Kondas village of Rajim
taluka of Chattisgarh district ran away from their homes one month back
and were staying in a chawl of one Pradeep Thakur in Ovla.

Last
night around 9 pm, they took the extreme step, the reasons for which are
not known yet, police said.

The bodies have been sent for
postmortem, police said adding that a case of accidental death has been
registered.
