Faridabad youth thrashed till death in a restaurant

Faridabad: A youth was beaten to death in a restaurant here by a group of attackers, led by his neighbour, over an old feud. The victim, Rohit Waghera, was with his friends in the restaurant yesterday when the attackers came and started beating him. His died on the way while his family members were shifting him to a private hospital from BK Government hospital. According to police, Rohit had beaten up the main attacker Bittu Rana more than a year ago. Rohit had alleged that Bittu often tempered with his car whenever he crossed it. A case was lodged against Rohit in the matter which is subjudice but Bittu sought revenge against him, police said. An FIR against five known and 20 unknown people had been registered in this connection.
