EXCLUSIVE: In Allahabad, Priyanka Gandhi & Dimple Yadav 'come together' in poster

New Delhi: With every passing day rumours of an alliance between Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP) faction and Congress getting stronger. However, amid these reports, Congress' star campaigner Priyanka Vadra Gandhi and SP leader Dimple Yadav have come together, at least, in a poster. District Congress committee general secretary Haseeb Ahmad has uploaded a poster on his Facebook account in which Priyanka and the Kannauj MP are seen together. Haseeb is known for displaying political posters in Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh. ABP Live's Anurag Kumar has an exclusive conversation with district Congress committee general secretary Haseeb Ahmad on his poster move. Here's what he said: [MUST READ] In case of Rahul-Akhilesh alliance, Dimple Yadav & Priyanka Gandhi may lead campaign Q1) What is the aim behind this poster showing Priyanka-Dimple together? Haseeb: By poster, we want to appeal to the Congress to join hands with Samajwadi Party. Congress needs the support of regional parties if it wants to win the election in the state. Q2) Do you think Congress should form an alliance with Samajwadi Party? Haseeb: It is the need of the hour. We need them (SP). Congress party leadership must think over an alliance with Akhilesh Yadav positively as it could give better opportunities and result in upcoming polls. Q3) Have to got the order from party's high command to put this poster? Haseeb: No. No order from Congress high command. I wanted to make my voice heard to the leaders sitting at the top. Q4) You said in poster "Hum ek hai" (We are one). Why? Haseeb: Both the parties want to keep communal forces at bay. If our aim is one then why fight election separately? Q5) What you have to say on Dr Dr. A.K Bansal's death? Haseeb: It's a tragic incident. CBI inquiry must be ordered into this.
