'Dream of fight against corruption shattered': Anna Hazare after allegation of corruption on Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Anti-corruption crusader and once close to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare on Sunday said that he was "saddened" because of allegation of corruption on AAP national convener. "I'm saddened because of allegation of corruption on Arvind Kejriwal," Anna Hazare said. "Dream of fight against corruption shattered," Hazare added. A day after being dropped as a minister, AAP MLA Kapil Mishra today leveled stunning allegations of corruption against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain. Mishra told reporters at Raj Ghat that he "saw" Jain handing over "Rs 2 crore" to Kejriwal at his official residence. However, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday rejected the corruption charge levelled by sacked minister Kapil Mishra against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling it "unbelievable". "The kind of allegations that have been made against Kejriwal are unsubstantiated. No one will believe them," Sisodia told the media. "There is no substance in this allegation." Sisodia said the allegations came just after Mishra was told he was being removed as minister. "I have been sacked after I spoke out. I have told #LG about all #corruption cases," Mishra said. On Sunday, holding firm to his allegation of Cabinet Minister Satyendar Jain giving Rs. 2 crore to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ousted leader Kapil Mishra affirmed that people will believe his claims once Jain goes to jail. "I was there when Jain gave money to Kejriwal and I will inform ACB and CBI about this. The day Satyendra Jain will go to jail, everything would be revealed. People who are indulged in corruption and who are protecting them should be removed from the party. I have submitted the evidence, now the law will take its course," Kapil Mishra told news agency ANI. He alleged that his own party AAP had started targeting him after he went to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and submitted the evidences against its ministers. "The time we lost MCD polls, they said that we faced the defeat due to tampering in EVM. As soon as I wrote the letter to the ACB, they started targeting me," he added.
