Adityanath on Jaish-e-Mohammed's target?

NEW DELHI: Vehicles, electricity, petrol, fertilizer, sand and medicines, these five "tools of terror" were specifically mentioned in the latest threat message issued by Pakistan based terrorist outfit Jaish E Mohammad. So when a significant amount of a little known yet potentially dangerous substance named Pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) was found in Uttar Pradesh assembly building, alarm bells were bound to ring. This is exactly the kind of attack Jaish E Mohammad had threatened and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath's name figured prominently in the same message. A written message appeared in Jaish E Mohammad linked platforms as well as an audio message was also issued by this terror outfit in the name of 'Saadi' (a pen name used by terrorist Masood Azhar). These messages are written by terrorist Masood Azhar himself and the audio is recorded by one of his associates. The message was issued less than 36 hours back and was full of hate against Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. In his latest message, India 's most wanted terrorist and chief of Jaish E Mohammad, terrorist Masood Azhar expressed his anger against Prime minister Narendra Modi's recent Israel visit and called for action against Jews and Hindus whom he called his first enemies. The mastermind of 2001 Indian parliament attack, Masood Azhar in his message talked about carrying out indigenous attacks in India but ruled out use of traditional weapons such as guns, grenades and bullets. This was second consecutive threat against prime minister Modi and chief minister Yogi Adityanath in two weeks by the chief of banned terrorist outfit. Azhar went on to indicate a new style of attack with use of props such as Vehicles, electricity, petrol, fertilizer and more significantly 'medicines'. It's important to mention here that the chemical substances found in UP assembly building, better known as PETN has also medicinal uses and is often used in the treatment of certain heart conditions such as angina pectoris. Medicines such as Lentonitrat contains maximum amount of PETN and its variables are available in the market. Most people don't even know the significance of the other usage of this substance hence if it is seen as a possibility that the terror outfit could have procured the dangerous substance from a medical facility under false pretext. ABP News was the first channel to report the threat issued by Jaish against prime minister Modi and chief minister Yogi last week. Joining the dots backwards, one can not rule out the possibility of a sinister plan being hatched by the same Pakistan based terrorist outfit which carried out the attack on Indian parliament back in 2001. Jaish operatives have involved in suicide attacks in Uttar Pradesh before including the 2007 bombings. As the case is in process of being referred to the National Investigating Agency, it was the most logical thing to do on part of UP government as NIA has already been investigating cases related to Jaish E Mohammad and Masood Azhar, including the case of attack on Indian air force base in Pathankot which was carried out by the same outfit. Most serious matter of concern for security agencies in this case is the possibility of an indigenous existing Jaish module, which which might still be at large. It would be a real challenge to decode the Bahawalpur angle to the UP assembly plot and nab the operatives if any.
