Do not give mandate to "monkeys": Sanjay Nirupam urges Mumbai voters

Mumbai: Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam continues to make controversial statements against the BJP.

Talking to ABP News on Wednesday, Nirupam said, “Mumbai citizens should all come out and vote but should not give mandate to "monkeys" like it did in Lok Sabha polls.”

He says Congress is the only party and the only alternative the city has if it needs development.

Lambasting Shiv Sena and BJP, Nirupam said that the two parties are just hoodwinking the masses as they are the two sides of one coin.

“If Sena considers BJP as its enemy Number 1 then why do have their minister still in Modi cabinet. Why is Sena taking support of BJP & their alliance is still intact in the BMC,” he asked.

The voting is being held today to elect the 13th Assembly in Maharashtra.
