War of words between Smriti Irani & Dimple Yadav over 'darr' slur

Uttar Pradesh: The ongoing controversy over SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav’s ‘warning’ to the party leaders after they took selfies with her and raised slogans has escalated after union minister Smriti Irani took a jibe at Dimple while questioning the law and order situation in UP. Dimple Yadav, while addressing a rally in Allahabad got angry at the party workers who were present at her rally and asked them to behave themselves and stop taking pictures with her. Dimple, also went ahead and told the party workers that such a behavior by them makes her feel uncomfortable and threatened. She further went ahead and threatened that she would complain against them to Akhilesh. Pulling the strings of the incident, BJP leader Smriti Irnai hit out at Samajwadi Party by questioning the SP party workers and the law and order situation in the state. Smriti while lashing out at Dimple in a very sarcastic tone said, “The Law and order situation in UP is so good that even Chief Minister’s wife feels threatened from her own party workers and had to request them to not misbehave with her; warning that she would complain against them”. Dimple on Saturday hit back at Smriti by responding to her attack by saying, “Smriti is used to making dialogues for she has worked in many serials in the past”.
