Delhi-Agra semi bullet train completes successful trial run

New Delhi: The Delhi to Agra semi bullet train successfully completed its trial run on Thursday.



Running at an average speed of 160 km per hour, the train completed the nearly 230km journey in 89 minutes.

 

The train was flagged off from New Delhi railway station at 11.15 in the morning and reached Agra at 12.55 pm.

 

Once finalised, the semi high speed train will run from Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi to Agra Cantt.

 

If everything goes well, the train could be launched as soon as November this year.
