CRPF sends Kashmiri footballers on 'Bharat Darshan'

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Feb. 20 (ANI): The Central Reserve of Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday sent two football teams, who recently won in the tournament organised by the CRPF Kashmir sector, on a 'Bharat Darshan'.

The CRPF had organised a district-level football tournament, named 'CAP 2017', between November-December 2017 in the three districts of Jammu and Kashmir including Budgam, Ganderbal and Srinagar.

A total of 16 teams had participated in the tournament conducted at Budgam district 43, out of which Sahin Sheikhpora football club was declared the winner and Khumani football club was the runner-up.

As part of the prize package, the winners of all the three districts will be sent on the 'Bharat darshan', out of which the first two batches of the winners were sent on Tuesday.

36 players from both the teams from Budgam district, along with 4 representatives from the CRPF, were sent to the trip. (ANI)
