New Delhi: While Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took his way to flood-hit Chennai, Press Information Bureau(PIB), a state-run outlet which issues official press releases and news updates, have gotten into some trouble.
PIB today tweeted a photo of PM Modi making an aerial survey of flood-hit city and adjoining areas. The picture features PM Modi seating and looking at submerged streets of Chennai from the circular window of chopper. However, the PM had earlier tweeted the original picture through his personal Twitter handle.
Soon after the tweet, twitteratis bashed PIB and accused the news agency of photoshopping the picture of city in the image. Embarrassed PIB later deleted the tweet, but has offered no explanation so far.
